Description

When a magnetic field is present, the A3144 Hall Effect Sensor Magnet Detector Switch for Arduino will turn on or off. The signal line of the sensor is HIGH (3.5 V) in the absence of a magnetic field. When the sensor is exposed to a magnetic field, the signal line becomes LOW and the LED on the sensor illuminates simultaneously. The existence of a magnetic field will also be shown via an onboard LED.

Pin Attachment
Attach the ground (-) to GND and the powerline (middle) to +5V. Attach signal (s) to any Arduino digital pin.
