Description

For your next project, use this IR Receiver Diode (TSOP38238), a basic IR receiver, for infrared remote control. Common IR remotes can be used with it, and it pairs well with embedded devices thanks to its low power consumption and user-friendly packaging.

A miniature receiver for infrared remote control systems is called the TSOP382. On a lead frame, a preamplifier and a PIN diode are mounted, and an IR filter is provided by the epoxy packaging. A microprocessor can decode the output signal once it has been demodulated directly. Each and every widely used IR remote control data type is compatible with the TSOP382.
