Description

The laser ranging core, angle measurement unit, motor driving unit, wireless transmission unit, wireless communication unit, and mechanical housing make up the majority of LD19. Using DTOF technology, the LD19 ranging core takes measurements 4500 times per second. In order for LD19 to function, an infrared laser must be pointed forward. Once it reaches the target object, the laser is reflected back to the single photon receiving device. As a result, we obtain both the laser’s emission and reception times; the time in between is known as the flight time. We are able to compute the distance using the speed of light. Following the receipt of distance data, LD19 will merge it with the angle value obtained from the angle measuring unit to create the points cloud data. It will then wirelessly communicate the points cloud data to an external interface. In the meantime, PWM is provided by the external interface, enabling the motor driving unit to operate the motor. To guarantee that LD19 operates steadily, the external control unit will use a closed-loop PID algorithm to drive it to the desired speed after determining its rotational speed.
