Description

The AVR ATmega32 microcontroller’s capabilities can be assessed and demonstrated using the SmartElex ATmega32 Development Board. The AVR ATmega32 controller’s 40 pin DIP package is supported by the onboard MCU socket. This board is intended for general-purpose use.

ATMEGA 32 is intended to be used with the ATMEGA Project Board. A low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller built on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture is called the ATMEGA 32. With throughputs close to 1 MIPS per MHz, it can carry out complex instructions in a single clock cycle, enabling the system designer to optimize power usage.

The board features a circuit for the onboard power supply, a Micro USB port for the USBASP programmer, a power status LED (RED), a reset switch, a two-user switch, a two-user LED, and port extensions for all four ports. Power for the Board can be supplied using the DC plug-in connector. Any voltage between 9 and 12 VDC can be handled by the inbuilt power regulator.
