Description

With its eight electrical parameter measurement capabilities, this metre truly is an all-in-one! Perfect. The purpose of the 150A High Precision WATT Metre and Power Analyzer Module is to ensure system safety when operating at voltages lower than 60 V and with currents up to 150 A.

It is essential to the performance and safety of electric power as it measures eight parameters. measuring the minimum voltage (Vm), peak current (Ap), peak power (Wp), capacity (Ah), voltage (V), current (A), power (W), and energy (Wh).

An indispensable tool for any drone maker is a wattmeter. It will allow you to track and quantify the electrical throughput and consumption of your powertrain as well as the operation of your motor, ESC, and battery. With this knowledge, you should be able to choose the prop/motor/ESC combination that will work the best and, more importantly, possibly prevent damage to your parts before taking off! The wattmeter has paid for itself if it saves you even one motor or ESC.

With its self-powered measuring source, the metre eliminates the requirement for a separate power source. It operates between 4.8 and 60 volts and has a 150 amp capacity (0 V with an optional auxiliary battery input).

The metre is extremely simple to operate; in fact, there is nothing to set up because it has just one button. Real-time values are displayed for Voltage (V), Power (W), Current (A), and Peak Amps (Ap), Peak Watts (Wp), and Voltage Minimum (Vm). Additionally, on a continuous cycle, Watt-hours (Wh) and Amp-hours (Ah) are displayed successively every two seconds. Upon powering up, these “data values” (Ah, Wh, Ap, Vm, and Wp) are reset.

Examples of uses:
  1. How Much Power Does my Fridge Use – with the Battery connected to the SOURCE side and Car Fridge (or other accessories) connected to the LOAD side. The Watt Meter shows the current into the Fridge, voltage, and power at the battery and accumulates the Ah and Wh while the fridge is running.
  2. How much charge is going into my battery – With a battery charger (or alternator) on the SOURCE side and the aux battery on the LOAD side, the Watt Meter shows the charging current into the battery, the voltage and charging power at the battery and accumulates the charge (Ah) and energy (Wh) into the battery.
  3. What is the output of my solar panel  – With a solar panel on the SOURCE side and solar regulator on the LOAD side, the Watt Meter shows the charging current into the regulator, the voltage and charging power at the solar panel and accumulates the charge (Ah) and energy (Wh) into the regulator.
  4. How much charge is my solar panel putting into my battery – Now with a solar regulator on the SOURCE side and battery on the LOAD side, the Watt Meter shows the charging current into the battery, the voltage and charging power at the regulator and accumulates the charge (Ah) and energy (Wh) into the battery.
