These additional aluminium bits will improve and facilitate your stepper motor driver’s cooling. Thermally conductive adhesive tape is a feature of the Aluminium Heatsink for A4988 DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver that facilitates faster cooling. All that has to be done for installation is to take off the heatsink shield and gently press the aluminium heat sink against the stepper motor driver. Since aluminium is a good heat radiator, they are built of it. These heatsinks have excellent heat dissipation properties and are incredibly lightweight and portable.
