The GY-271 HMC5883L 3-axis Electronic Compass Module Magnetic Field Sensor – Original Chip is ideal for providing exact heading information because it is made for low field magnetic sensing and has a digital interface.

Small-scale applications like robot navigation systems and UAVs can incorporate this tiny sensor. Any magnetic field can be converted by the sensor into a three-axis differential voltage output. The voltage shift represents the unprocessed digital output value, which can be utilised for heading computation or direction sensing.

A development board that offers the HMC5883L (three-axis magnetic field module) a basic interface.

Note: There are two types of this product available: HW-127, GY-127, and GY-271. Any of the two could come up at random.
