HC-SR04 Ultrasonic range finder with cartoon Ultrasonic Sensor mounting Bracket

The widely used HC-SR04-Ultrasonic Range Finder sensor is used in numerous applications where object detection and distance measurement are necessary.

The ultrasonic transmitter and receiver are formed by the module’s two eyes-like projections at the front. Like bats or dolphins, the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor employs sonar to measure an object’s distance.

This ultrasonic sensor module comes in a single pack that functions as a transmitter, receiver, and control circuit! It is incredibly small and convenient to use. It comes in an easy-to-use packaging with reliable readings and great range accuracy. Unlike Sharp rangefinders, it is unaffected by sunshine or dark materials (but acoustically soft materials like cloth can be challenging to identify).

Since the Trigger and Echo pins are this module’s I/O pins, they can be linked to the microcontroller’s or Arduino’s I/O pins. The Echo pin goes high for a predetermined period of time, which is equivalent to the time it takes for the wave to return to the sensor, when the receiver detects a return wave.

The HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Ranging Module has a non-contact distance detecting range of 2 to 400 cm with a maximum ranging accuracy of 3 mm.

This package includes a mounting bracket and an HC-SR04 ultrasonic range finder for quick and simple project construction. Acrylic is used to make the Cartoon Ultrasonic Sensor Mounting Bracket.
