Description

The IR2104 is an IGBT and MOSFET driver with dependent high- and low-side referenced output channels that operates at high voltage and high speed. Ruggedized monolithic construction is made possible by proprietary latch-resistant CMOS and HVIC technology. Down to 3.3 V logic, the logic input is compatible with normal CMOS or LSTTL output.

A high pulse current buffer step intended to minimise driver cross-conduction is a feature of the output drivers. An N-channel power MOSFET or IGBT operating in the high-side configuration between 10 and 600 volts can be driven by the floating channel.

Note:
Depending on availability, the image may differ from the actual product in terms of the manufacturer or brand name.

Features:

  • Bootstrap-compatible floating channel design
  • Completely functional up to +600 V
  • dV/dt immune and tolerant of negative transient voltage; gate drive supply range: 10 V to 20 V
  • Undervoltage lockout input logic compatible at 3.3 V, 5 V, and 15 V
  • Cross-conduction prevention reasoning
  • Deadtime that is internally set
  • Peak output in sync with the input
  • Both channels are turned off by shutdown input.
  • Propagation delay matched for both channels
