With its smooth feature, the OpenPilot CC3D EVO Flight Controller Straight Pin card may be used directly with satellite receivers, eliminating the need for extra wires. S.BUS is also supported. A potent 32-bit STM32 CPU with 128 KB of Flash and 20 KB of RAM powers the Evo. Two applications of 3-axis MEMs technology are accelerometer and gyro.

Utilising the OpenPilot CC3D EVO Flight Controller Straight Pin card with your PC is simple. The card can be programmed in Windows, Mac, or Linux using USB and OpenPilot software; no drivers need to be installed. OpenPilot is a very easy-to-use programme that anyone may use, even without any prior programming knowledge. It’s possible that there are no technological differences between the OpenPilot CC3D EVO Flight Controller side Pin boards and the Straight Pin version of the flight controller. The only distinction between connecting pins is this.(One has a 90º side pin, whereas the other has a straight pin.)

Another cutting-edge product from Copter Control is the Flexiport, which may be used to add a second serial port or I2C connectivity. Copter Control can use Flexiport to employ a single serial port or dual serial ports in addition to I2C, depending on your communication requirements.

OpenPilot has made every effort to make using the CC3D as simple and trouble-free as possible for you. A high-end device would naturally include complete hardware—no soldering required. An RC harness is supplied, so you can connect any standard PWM receiver. Every CopterControl board undergoes testing prior to shipment and is pre-flashed with the bootloader.
The most recent firmware may be loaded and everything customised for your specific aircraft using a regular tiny USB cable, which is not included. Despite its youth, the OpenPilot initiative aims to greatly improve the usability of Open Source software.
The OpenPilot programme is intended for universal use! Install packages are available for all major operating systems.

The programme is entirely free software available under the GPLv3 licence, and hacking is not only allowed but really encouraged.
