An very sophisticated charger, the SkyRC IMAX B6 V2 60W 6A Original Charger can charge, balance, and discharge LiIon, LiPoly, LiFe (A123), NiCd, and NiMH batteries. Like all the greatest chargers, it is microprocessor controlled and will balance each of your Li-XX batteries’ individual cells.

It can charge packs up to 6S packs and has a charging range of 0.1 to 6.0A. Its features include input voltage protection to prevent your car battery from flattening in the field and storage charging for your packs when not in use. Software-optimized operating software: The AUTO function on the iMax B6 regulates the charge rate while it is charging and draining. This can stop overcharging lithium batteries, which could cause an explosion if the user sets the charge rate incorrectly. In the event of a malfunction, it will immediately cut off the circuit and sound an alert. To ensure the highest level of safety, two-way communication between the charger and the battery controls all of the charger’s operating modes. The user has the ability to configure every setting.

Internal, separate lithium battery balancer: The iMax B6 makes use of a voltage balancer specific to each cell. An external balancer is not required in order to charge the balance.

Battery balancing for individual cells Discharging:

Optimal Security:
Delta-peak sensitivity: A programme that automatically terminates charges based on the idea of detecting voltage at the delta-peak. The procedure will automatically end when the battery voltage reaches the threshold.

Automatic Charging Current Limit: When charging your NiCd or NiMH batteries, you have the option to adjust the maximum charge current. When using the “AUTO” charging mode, this is helpful for NiMH batteries with low impedance and capacity.

Temperature Threshold: During charging, the internal chemical reaction of the battery may cause its temperature to rise. The charging procedure will end if the user-set temperature limit is reached. An optional temperature probe, which is not included with the charger, can be used to access this feature.

Processing Time Limit: The maximum charging time is configurable by the user. When you specify the maximum time for the charging mode, the operation will immediately end if the charging time exceeds the limit.

Data Store/Load: Ten distinct batteries’ worth of data can be stored by it. Without the need for extra programming, the user can configure the charging and discharging parameters for a certain battery type and “call up” these settings to charge a battery.
