Description

A low-resistance, high-side N-channel MOSFET is integrated into the TPS5430DDAR, a high-output-current PWM converter. A high-performance voltage error amplifier that offers precise voltage regulation in transient situations, an undervoltage lockout circuit that delays startup until the input voltage reaches 5.5 V, an internally adjusted slow-start circuit that restricts inrush currents, and a voltage feedforward circuit that enhances transient response are all included on the substrate with the aforementioned features.

The shutdown supply current is usually lowered to 18 μA by using the ENA pin. Active-high enable, overcurrent limiting, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown are further features.

The feedback loop of TPS543x is internally adjusted. Power rails up to 23 V are intended to power the TPS5431. The 24 V bus is one of the several power sources that the TPS5430 controls. The TPS543x device comes in an 8-pin SOIC PowerPAD packaging that is simple to use and thermally improved. In order to satisfy the demanding equipment development cycles, TI offers evaluation modules and a designer software tool that facilitate the rapid creation of high-performance power supply designs.
