The L298N Dual H Bridge Driver Chip is the reason behind the widespread use of this motor driver for DC motors and stepper motors. This motor driver is designed to deliver optimal performance at an affordable price point for anyone.
Two robot motors are driven by the L298N Dual H Bridge DC/Stepper Motor Driver Controller Module. With its strong L298N Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver chip, it can drive motors with voltages ranging from 5 to 35 volts at up to 2 amps per channel. Each motor can be totally autonomous, with total control over speed direction and braking action, thanks to the versatile digital input controls.
This board has a convenient 5V regulator that you can use to power other circuits, such the microprocessor in your robot. Its adaptable modular design makes it simple to integrate with a broad range of robot controllers, such as the widely used Arduino series.
The original, brand-new L298N chip from the ST firm is used in this L298N driver module. To stabilise the circuit, a premium aluminium electrolytic capacitor and the SMT technique are used. The module has easy control over the direction and speed of the DC motor in addition to the two-phase stepper motor.
