Description

The new ibots 3D Printer Kit, designed specifically for individuals interested in 3D printing, is the RAMPS 1.4 3D Printer Controller + Mega2560 with cable compatible with Arduino + 5Pcs A4988 Driver with heat sink Kit. The Mega Pololu Shield, also known as RAMPS 1.4, is designed to house all of the electronics required for a RepRap in a single, affordable, tiny container. RAMPS provides an interface between a Mega and the robust MEGA Arduino platform, and it offers ample space for growth.

The plug-in stepper drivers and extruder control electronics on the MEGA Arduino shield are part of the modular architecture, which makes maintenance, part replacement, expansion, and upgradeability simple. The system can also have multiple Arduino expansion boards attached to it. provided that the primary RAMPS board remains at the top of the stack.

The ATmega2560 microcontroller development board, known as the Mega2560, includes 54 sets of digital I/O terminals (14 Pin PWM outputs). Using a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, group 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports) on the input side were simulated 16 times. Download the programme straight from USB using the boot-loader, bypassing the need for an additional external writer. Provide a portion of the external power via the AC-to-DC adapter and battery, or as an optional USB power source.

The A4988 driver, which has over-current protection by Pololu and a translator, is a carrier board or breakout board for the A4988 DMOS Micro-stepping driver. Therefore, before using this product, we advise carefully reading the A4988 datasheet. One bipolar stepper motor with an output current per coil of up to 2 A can be controlled with this stepper motor driver.
