The SafeConnect XT60 Harness for 2 Packs in Series offers a convenient solution for combining two identical battery packs in series to effectively double the total voltage and cell count. By connecting the packs in series, you can construct a larger voltage pack out of two matching smaller packs.

This harness typically comes with two female connectors and one male connector. It’s designed to connect the two batteries in series, providing double the voltage at the harness’s output end, which is the male connector. This setup allows you to create a larger Li-PO battery pack without the need to purchase a single larger pack, offering a cost-effective solution.

One of the advantages of using this harness is that it reduces the risk of losing the entire battery pack in case of damage. If a cell is damaged due to a crash or other mishap, the loss is limited to one of the smaller packs rather than the entire combined pack. This makes it a smarter and safer way to run larger packs, especially in high-risk situations like RC flying.

For example, connecting two 1800mAh 12V batteries using this harness would result in a single 24V 1800mAh battery, effectively doubling the voltage while maintaining the same capacity.

Note:

1. Only use with batteries and ESCs that follow the standard polarity conventions for XT60 connectors.
2. All batteries must be fully charged before a connection.
3. Do not charge the Batteries while connected.
