Don’t be fooled by the appearance of this cable, it’s not just a regular micro USB cable, but a USB OTG (On the Go) adapter. With it, you can connect a mouse, keyboard, or other standard USB devices to a USB OTG port, like that on the Pi Zero/W.

The Pi Zero/W has two micro USB ports, one for power, and the other one is an OTG port which saves space and allows normal USB devices to be connected using this cable.
