Description

This Reed Switch has a normally open contact and measures 2 x 14 mm.

The two ferrous pins inside the switch pull together to cause the switch to close when the device is in a magnetic field. The Reed Switch separates and opens when the magnetic field is eliminated. This works really well as a non-contact switch. Up to 1.2A can be carried by this switch.

It is possible to utilise this compact and user-friendly module in a range of climatic settings; it functions extremely well in the temperature range of -50°C to +140°C.
