This is a 55mm graphic card aluminium heatsink with a cooling fan.

The cooling fan on this 55 mm round-edged heat sink is precisely suited for the graphics cards on computers or gaming consoles. When you use graphics-rich content for extended periods of time, such as games, graphic editing software, or even 4K videos on YouTube, the Graphic Processing IC heats up the sink significantly. Neither the internal PC chassis fan nor the case left open will be able to adequately reduce the heat. This problem would be most prevalent in the summer, when it would cause the PC to seize up and display errors that would force the Windows OS to shut down.

You can now enjoy graphics-rich content without worrying about overheating or thermal shutdown thanks to this new heatsink fan that is installed directly on top of the graphic card’s heatsink. Applying a little paste to the heat sink and pressing down on the harness locks to secure the position are the necessary steps for installing the fan on the GPU. To improve heat dissipation, don’t forget to put heat sink component grease between the two heat sinks.
