Description

The XL4015 5A Variable Voltage & Current Step Down Power Module with LED Display is a small module that has an integrated display that allows you to modify the output voltage and current limit. This little DC-DC module is a voltage step-down (buck) converter module that is based on the XL4015 and has an adjustable current limiter in addition to a daughterboard that shows the output voltage and current. This enables it to be easily used for a variety of purposes, including battery charging, LED driving at a steady current, and functioning as a compact, adjustable power source with current limitation.

The module has an output voltage range of 0.8V to 29V at up to 5A and an input range of 5V to 30V. The module operates at a fairly comfortable 1.5A, and unless some air flow is supplied via the module to assist keep things cool, it should only be used at 3A.

  8. The module above marked IN-(input negative), IN+(input positive), OUT-(output negative), and OUT+(output positive) must be correctly connected, otherwise, it may lead to module damage.
