Waveshare VL53L1X ToF Distance Sensor 4m Range

The VL53L1X Distance Sensor is a Time-of-Flight (ToF) ranging module based on STMicroelectronics’ VL53L1X sensor. It provides accurate distance measurement up to 4 meters with a fast ranging frequency of up to 50Hz. The module uses an I²C interface and offers low power consumption, making it suitable for robotics, drones, automation, and embedded applications.

The VL53L1X features ST’s third-generation FlightSense ToF technology. Compared with the VL53L0X, it provides an extended ranging distance of up to 4 meters and faster measurement performance. Its integrated infrared filters and optics provide reliable distance measurement regardless of target color and reflectance, with improved resistance to interference.
