4 Series 40A 18650 Lithium Battery Protection Board 14.8V 16.8V with Balance for Drill Motor Lipo Cell Module

  • Three 15C–20C power batteries or six 10C–15C power batteries are needed for the drill to start successfully (a standard 18650 won’t work!).
  • Adhering strictly to the map wiring of 0V, 4.2V, 8.4V, 12.6V, and 16.8V, avoid purposeful short circuits.

Description

The Drill Motor Lipo Cell Module’s 4 Series 40A 18650 Lithium Battery Protection Board 14.8V 16.8V with Balance features an integrated 10-low load resistance MOS tube and an auto recovery function.

It offers a constant 40A, 100mA balanced current discharge for low power inverters, LED lights, electric drills, and sprayers. In the event of an inadequate cooling environment, kindly decrease the present load.

The scope includes 3.6V and 3.7V nominal voltage lithium batteries, which include polymer lithium batteries (18650 and 26650), and a charging voltage range of 16.8V to 18.1V With a continuous charging current of (maximum limit): 20A, the board functions flawlessly. The balanced version can start with current less than 80A and power less than 135W (with balance) than the drill.

The board, which is small and easily installable, or the battery bundle itself.

Note:

  • Drills cannot be started with regular 18650 batteries; instead, they require three 15C-20C power batteries or six 10C-15C power batteries.
  • Adhering strictly to the map wiring of 0V, 4.2V, 8.4V, 12.6V, and 16.8V, avoid purposeful short circuits.
  • To stop the brush motor from producing a reverse spike when it is under load, attempt to connect a non-polar capacitor (10uF–100uF, capacity, tolerate voltage above 25V) to the positive and negative terminals of the motor. Crack the MOS tube.
  • Four battery groups in series: please make sure that the voltage of each group is the same; if not, fill each battery individually before using the batteries in series. The discharge test indicates a poor battery group if the voltage drops more quickly.

Features:

  • The protection board for four 16.8V 40A lithium batteries has the following features: auto recovery (auto recovery function).
  • Coverage: 3.6V and 3.7V lithium batteries with a nominal voltage (including polymer lithium batteries like 18650 and 26650).
  • Product weight: 10.3g (balanced version), 9.3g (standard / improved version).
  • Voltage range for charging: 16.8V to 18.1V.
  • Maximum continuous discharge current of 40A (please lower load current if the cooling environment is not suitable).
  • The upper limit for continuous charge current is 20A.
  • Version with equalisation: ideal for starting currents under 80A and power levels under 135W for drills.
