This six-piece 1.5V AA battery holder can accommodate six 1.5VAA batteries, allowing you to create a nine-volt rechargeable battery pack using NiMH or NiCd cells or a nine-volt alkaline battery pack. Six times the voltage of an AA battery is achieved by connecting the batteries in series via the battery holder. (about 9V)

A soldered open end wire is included.
