Description

This 20-tooth, 5-mm-bore aluminium GT2 timing idler pulley is designed to be used with GT2 timing belts that are 6mm wide. It is an ideal match for the GT2 pulley-belt pairs that we sell in our store. This idler works well with the Timing Belt Pulley of the 20T GT2 driving system.

Idler pulleys based on 3D printed wheels are used by a lot of do-it-yourself 3D printer builders. Since an inaccurately printed idler’s outside diameter is not concentric to the rotating axis, it reduces printing quality and causes vibrations. Double bearings with stationary washers clamped from both sides are used by other manufacturers.

This solution is not ideal since there is friction between the moving belt to the stationary washers. Our Dual BB Aluminum Idler Pulley is a simple and inexpensive solution to this problem.

Note: These Idler pulleys are used for providing tension in the belt of 3D printers.
