Description

The metal guard is made of nickel-chrome-finished C1008 Steel. Its four holes allow it to be bolted onto any cooling fan frame measuring 40 millimetres square. The guard is built to resist hard use, with a pull power of up to 220 pounds at each joint.

Application:

  • A fan guard puts up a shield to keep any extraneous items from getting in the way of a fan’s blades.
  • When used, the blade is brittle and can sustain damage if it comes into contact with something foreign.
  • It can also injure fingers and cables when it comes into touch at fast speeds.
