Flame Sensor infrared Receiver Ignition source detection module

  • Channel of Output: 1
  • Energy Source: 3.3 V/5 V
  • A potentiometer for sensitivity control is integrated.
  • The output signal can be connected directly to the microcontroller’s input/output (IO) when the indicator lights up and the output effective signal is high.
  • About 60 degrees is the detection angle, and the flame spectrum is very sensitive.
  • The normal light is also a response to the flame of the most sensitive sensors and is typically employed for fire alarm purposes.

Description

This compact infrared receiver module for ignition source detection is compatible with Arduino and may be used to identify flames or light sources with wavelengths between 760 and 1100 nm. It can also be used to detect lighter flames at a distance of up to 80 cm.

The test distance increases with flame intensity. Its 60° detection angle makes it extremely sensitive to the flame spectrum.

At the D0 terminal, it generates a single channel output signal for processing in other systems, such as switching systems or alarm systems. The on-board blue potentiometer allows you to alter the sensitivity.

Features:

  • Two indicator lights: one for the switch (green) and another for power (red).
  • A potentiometer for sensitivity control is integrated.
  • The output signal can be connected directly to the microcontroller’s input/output (IO) when the indicator lights up and the output effective signal is high.
  • Able to identify fire or wavelengths between 760 and 1100 nanometers within the light source’s range.
  • About 60 degrees is the detection angle, and the flame spectrum is very sensitive.
  • The normal light is also a response to the flame of the most sensitive sensors and is typically employed for fire alarm purposes.
