Description

The HTC 830L+ Digital Multimeter is this one.

The metre is a battery-operated handheld digital multimeter that measures resistance, diode and transistor voltage as well as AC and DC voltage.

Take precautions:

  • Make that the test probes are always inserted into the appropriate sockets. (In particular, while determining AC voltage.)
  • Before connecting the probe, please select the appropriate measurement option. (As a general rule, always select the higher value; decrease if necessary.)
  • Make sure the Red Probe is inserted into a 10A socket and that the measuring connection is in series while measuring current.
  • The measuring connection should be in parallel for measuring all other parameters besides current (ampere).
  • The device will blink or beep if an incorrect connection or choice is accidentally chosen, starting the measurement. Tighten the connections as soon as possible to minimise harm.
