Description

As the name implies, an IR receiver LED is used to detect infrared radiation. It is always linked in negative polarity, meaning that the supply voltage and ground are connected inversely to the anode and cathode, respectively. The IR Receiver LED permits electricity to pass through it when light strikes it. The light falling on the IR Receiver LED directly correlates with the quantity of electricity flowing. This IR Receiver LED has a 5mm diameter. Pd, or power dissipation, is 100 mW.
