Description

A display is required if you wish to provide your Arduino projects any visual output. The LCD1602 Parallel LCD Display is a decent option if you simply need a small amount to show.

For a straightforward and affordable way to incorporate a 16×2 Black on RGB Liquid Crystal Display into your project, try the LCD1602 Parallel LCD Display. The display is a 16-character by 2-line panel with a backlit yellow background and extremely readable, high contrast black text.

The amazing yellow backlight LCD display is this one. For projects based on Arduino, it is excellent. It is quite simple to interface this LCD1602 Parallel LCD Display with Yellow Backlight with an Arduino or other microcontroller.

Simple text or numerical values read by the sensors, such as temperature or pressure, or even the number of cycles the Arduino is executing, can be displayed on the display.

It should be noted that in order for the display to function, you will need to waste roughly 8 pins on your Arduino. Fortunately, there is an I2C converter that can be soldered directly onto the display pins. Therefore, just the I2C pins need to be connected, demonstrating a strong library with minimal coding.

Features :

  1. 16 characters wide, 2 rows
  2. Black text on the yellow background
  3. Single LED backlight included can be dimmed easily with a resistor or PWM.
  4. Can be fully controlled with only 6 digital lines! (Any analog/digital pins can be used)
