MCT2EM Optocoupler Phototransistor IC DIP-6 Package

The MCTE is an industry-standard single-channel phototransistor, consisting of a gallium arsenide infrared LED and a silicon NPN phototransistor. Each optocoupler within this series is UL listed, complying with a 5300 VRMS isolation test voltage. The double molding isolation manufacturing process ensures this high isolation performance.

For additional compliance, the option to meet DIN EN 60747-5-2(VDE0884)/ DIN EN 60747-5-5 pending partial discharge isolation specification is available by selecting option 1. These isolation processes, coupled with the ISO 9001 quality program, deliver the highest isolation performance for a commercial plastic phototransistor optocoupler. The devices are configured for surface mounting, available in lead-formed configurations, and come in tape and reel packaging or standard tube containers.
