Description

The GaAs infrared emitting diode in MOC304XM devices is optically connected to a monolithic silicon detector, which functions as a bilateral triac driver with zero voltage crossing. They are intended to be used in conjunction with a triac in the logic system interface to devices that are powered by 115 VAC lines, including consumer appliances, industrial controls, printers, teletypewriters, CRTs, solid-state relays, motors, solenoids, and other devices.
