MQ-9 Carbon Monoxide, Methane and LPG Gas Sensor Module

You can detect carbon monoxide and methane gas with this MQ-9 Carbon Monoxide, Methane and LPG Gas Sensor Module. SnO2, a substance with reduced conductivity in clean air, is the sensitive component of the MQ9 gas sensor.

It uses a cycle of high and low temperatures to detect CO while the temperature is low (heated by 1.5V). As the concentration of gas rises, so does the conductivity of the sensor.

It cleans the other gases adsorbed under low temperature and identifies flammable gases such as methane, propane, etc. when it reaches a high temperature (heated by 5.0V).

Wire Connections:
VCC – Positive pole (5V)
GND – Negative pole
DO – TTL switch signal output
AO – Analog signal output
