A six-string 22-volt circuit power tool, the PCB BMS 6 Series 22V 18650 Lithium Battery Protection Board is mostly used for solar illumination using specific 18650 battery packs. It is intended to provide protection against overcharging and over discharge for 3.7V 18650 lithium battery types.

As the name implies, a battery protection board is primarily rechargeable (it refers to lithium batteries) and serves to shield the integrated circuit board.

The requirement for safety for rechargeable lithium batteries is based on their unique properties.

Since the lithium battery’s composition specifies that it cannot be charged or discharged over a certain temperature, overcharge, over discharge, overcurrent, short circuit, or at an excessively high level, the lithium battery’s components will always a current fuse and sampling resistor on a protective plate.
