Description

The Raspberry Pi Power over Ethernet (PoE) HAT is a compact add-on designed for the Raspberry Pi computer, specifically compatible with the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ (released in March 2018). This HAT enables your Raspberry Pi to receive power through a PoE-enabled network, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter. However, the network must have power-sourcing equipment (PSE) installed for the PoE HAT to function.

The HAT connects to the Raspberry Pi 3B+ via the 40-pin GPIO header and an additional 4-pin header located near the USB ports, allowing the device to be powered directly through an Ethernet cable.
