This sensor is based on the YG1006 sensor which is a high speed and high sensitive NPN silicon phototransistor. Due to its black epoxy, this sensor is sensitive to infrared radiation.

The Grove – Flame Sensor sensor plays an important role in the robot fighting game. It can also be used as a robot eye to find the fire source. You can use this sensor for various light sensing purposes.
