The Waveshare SX1268 LoRa HAT for Raspberry Pi operates on the 433MHz frequency band and supports data transmission distances of up to 5 km via the serial port.

Utilizing the latest LoRa spread spectrum modulation technology, the SX1268 offers extended communication range and supports features such as auto-repeating for even greater distances. It includes capabilities like Wake on Radio, wireless configuration, carrier sensing, and communication key.

Compared to standard LoRa modules, the SX1268 LoRa HAT provides a longer communication range, higher data rates, lower power consumption, and enhanced safety and anti-interference features. It is well-suited for various applications, including industrial control, smart home systems, and data collection.
