8 Channel Bi-Directional Logic Level Converter Module

The Bi-Directional Logic Level Converter Module, with 8 channels, is a compact device that can securely reduce 5 volt signals to 3.3 volts and increase 3.3 volt signals to 5 volts simultaneously. 2.8V and 1.8V devices can also be used with this level converter.

This logic level converter differs significantly from our earlier models in that it allows you to securely step up and down between the high and low voltages on the same channel. With two inputs and two outputs available for each side, each level converter can convert four pins on the high side to four pins on the low side. Utilising the level converter is quite simple.

The two voltage sources—high voltage and low voltage—that your system is using must supply power to the board. Ground from the system to the “GND” pin, high voltage (5V, for example) to the “HV” pin, and low voltage (3.3V, for example) to the “LV” pin.

LVx input and output are 3.3V TTL, HVx input and output are 5V TTL, LVx and TVx bidirectional transfers.
