DC To AC SSR-100DA is this. Module for Solid State Relay, 3-32VDC/24-380VAC, 100A. Unlike electromechanical relays, solid state relays (SSRs) are electronic switches without any moving parts. There are three different forms of SSR: hybrid, transformer-coupled, and photo-coupled. A low voltage signal that is separated optically from the load drives a photo-coupled SSR.

In a photo-coupled SSR, an LED is usually activated by the control signal, which in turn activates a photo-sensitive diode. To switch the load, the diode activates a MOSFET transistor, silicon-controlled rectifier, or back-to-back thyristor.

This SSR-100DA Relay Module has a zero cross trigger control technique and a 3-32V DC input to switch current loads up to 100A. A plastic cover that fits over the top of the relay to protect the terminals is included with each of these relays, along with four screw terminals for use with ring or fork connectors.
