Description

Mounting a GPS device during flight is accomplished with this UNIVERSAL GPS FOLDING ANTENNA BASE SET/BLACK. When GPS antennae are able to see the sky, accuracy is increased. Additionally vulnerable to electromagnetic interference from radio transmission devices, ESCs, and motors are GPS/compass modules.

Considering these two aspects, it seems appropriate to utilise an extended mount and place your GPS/compass high above your multirotor and far away from any potential sources of interference for optimal performance. The height of this mount—16 cm—is more than sufficient for the majority of installations. Even better, the mount is easily folded for storage or transit without the need for any equipment.

The mount itself can be fastened to your craft using the cross slides or the M3 hole in the base plate. It also comes with a laser-cut adhesive pad for fast attaching your GPS module.
