Description

This is the SSR-25DA, DC to AC. Module for Solid State Relay, 3-32VDC/24-380VAC/25A. With the use of a solid-state relay (SSR), lower voltage DC control circuitry can be used to regulate high-current AC loads. Compared to mechanical relays, solid-state relays provide a number of advantages.

One benefit over most mechanical relays is that they can be switched at considerably lower voltages and currents. Furthermore, solid-state relays can be switched far more quickly and for longer periods of time without wearing out because they don’t have moving contacts.

This specific SSR uses a zero cross trigger control mechanism and a 3-32V DC input to switch current loads up to 25A. A plastic cover that fits over the top of the relay to protect the terminals is included with each of these relays, along with four screw terminals for use with ring or fork connectors.
